MATILDE FOLLI

Assistent designer

Matilde Folli, born in 2002, after graduating from the Paolo Toschi Art High School in Parma, she continued her studies in set design at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. In 2023, she began her career through a curricular internship as an assistant set designer to Federico Biancalani for the production of the play “Chernobyl”, directed by Michele Sinisi, at Teatro Fontana in Milan. She continued her collaboration with the theater as a stagehand during the performance’s run.
In the same year, she worked as a stagehand for the set movement of the show “Rocky Horror Show”, produced by Hive Productions in collaboration with Trafalgar Theatre Production, at TAM – Teatro Arcimboldi.
In 2024, she began her collaboration with director Daniele Piscopo as a set designer for the production of “Rita” by Gaetano Donizetti, staged by the Ticino Musica Festival. That same year, she also collaborated as an assistant set designer with director Filippo Rotondo for the staging of “L’elisir d’amore” by Gaetano Donizetti.
In 2025, she worked as an apprentice technician for the setup of the sets created by Federico Biancalani for the play “Tartufo” by Molière, directed by Michele Sinisi, at Teatro Fontana in Milan.
