Vania Lecuit

Violoniste


Vania Lecuit obtained her first musical education at the Conservatory of Music in Luxembourg. Very early her talent started to show and she won a numerous prizes on international youth competitions (UFAM, Bellan, Nerini…).

After her high school graduation she continued her musical educations at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, where she won the first prize and the postgraduate diploma for violin and chamber music with great distinction.

From 1992 to 1995 she got a scholarship at the Queen Elisabeths Musical Capel, where she reached perfection and a graduate with great distinction and virtuosity under the leading the great Hungarian violinist André Gertler.

Since 1995 Vania Lecuit has a professorship for for violin at the Conservatory of Music in Luxembourg.

She won several prizes at international competitions and performs as a soloist with orchestra and different chamber music formations all over Europe. She is interested in performing contemporary music and was one of the international press revelations of World Music Days.
